Paper artist Cristin Dewar was born and raised in New England, with years spent traveling through the South Pacific islands of Hawaii and New Zealand, where she met and married her husband and gave birth to the first of their eleven children. Cristin and family currently reside in northern Vermont, where she home schools her children, in addition to creating her designs.
The chaos of daily life fuels the versatility in Cristin's work, ranging from hand-stamped greeting cards to unique gift boxes; each practical item a communication from the heart.
While inspired by the work of other artists, Cristin's pieces reflect modern-day designs with crisp lines and multi-dimensional layers. The artist began selling her art in 2015 at the "beCAUSE" and "Autumn on the Green" craft fairs; while her work can now be viewed in person at "Local Fare;" an indoor Farmers Market in St. Albans, VT; as well as world-wide at: "Heart 2 Heart - Handmade Cards"
