PAM FIASCHETTI
Pam born and raised in St. Albans, Vt., quickly became interested in painting when her parents gave her a set of oil paints at the age of 8.
Primarily self-taught. She has studied with area artists and works mainly in oils and acrylics. She enjoys plein air painting in her local surroundings, capturing the natural beauty that Vermont has to offer. Before moving back to St. Albans in 2011. Pam lived in Cambridge for 20 years where she painted many farms and landscapes. She started a business, Green Mtn, Slate Works which she hand painted original designs on old roofing slate. With the help of a distributor, her slates were sold in 300 shops thru out New England, Local businesses hired her to paint store signs and Smuggler’s Notch Resort offered her interesting projects such as murals and children’s photo opt art backdrops, among other things. In 2011 she started a new business, The Bay Baker at her Lake St. home selling her pies, breads, etc, to locals and summer visitors. Currently she is creating Barn Quilts.
