Today, we live in a world content with throwing out possessions at a moment’s notice. We replace them with the next shiny thing, knowing full well that it’ll be thrown out in a few months. I won’t sacrifice quality in favor of cost or time; I build items to last. Growing up in Vermont, I learned to appreciate hand-made items and the work ethic New England shares.
The decision behind starting my own business was simple - I am a non-conformist when it comes to established office work hours. My designs aren’t driven by endless meetings, price points, and marketing predictions. Impossible challenges are my specialty, and as such, I’ve always taken the ‘jack of all trades’ approach; learning what I can from every available source. If there’s one thing craftsmen and artisans alike can agree on, it’s this: Inspiration can come from anything, as long as your eyes are open.
So, if you have a dream that’s difficult to bring to life, I’d like to have try. And remember, “Build it to last a lifetime, not a limited-lifetime warranty.”
